The Teenage Assassin (1)

This first frame is an establishing shot, with the silhouette of a female looking towards the audience in the distance. The silhouette is in the centre of the frame with the setting of a school surrounding her. This shot shows the audience that this character is central to the plot of the story because she is the only one in the shot.

This frame is an over-the-shoulder shot, with a piece of paper taking up a majority of the frame, indicating it is an important part towards plot of the story. Also, the paper reads "Get rid of them." followed by a list of names, indicating the female holding the sheet will be killing people.

This long shot taken from a low angle depicts a boy stood by a railing with the assassins figure seen behind him, with her arms out as if to push him. The use of a long shot here further emphasis the height and danger of a fall from that high up. It could also indicate that the character feels as if he is higher than others and needs to be pushed back to where he belongs.

This over-the-shoulder shot with the assassin in the foreground and the corpse of the boy in the distance. The fact that the the corpse is so far down and the assassin is higher up than the corpse connotes that the assassin feel higher up and stronger than the (now) corpse.
The corpse is also out of focus, which is something often associated with unimportance.

This long shot has a scared girl in the foreground and the assassin in the background. If you look by the shocked girl's feet you can see a phone on the ground, which she seemingly dropped, indicating that she dropped it in shock. The assassin is holding the chair above her head in a position that suggests that she will attack the other girl with the chair. Both of the characters are in the centre of the frame, which draws the audiences attention to them.
