Statement of intent:
My Story-line: Tiny aliens have invaded the school and two schoolgirls, Demi and Aya, are caught in the middle of an alien invasion, in order to be safe they must escape the school, but there will be obstacles that they face when trying to escape, like Aya's best friend Demi getting herself possessed by the aliens.
The girls in this story will be represented as both weak and fragile as well as intelligent and brave, since there are scenes in which my female characters will act like they are 'doomed' and other scenes where they'll act like they can make quick decisions and do anything a man can. This will be appealing to my target audience of teenagers, since seeing teenagers in empowering roles could inspire them and make the audience more likely to watch the show.
I am going to make a 2-minute clip consisting of dialogue, a range of different shots and multiple examples of match-on-action editing. I'll ensure that the dialogue in my video contains vocabulary that is relevant to the Science-Fiction genre. I will film in multiple locations around the school, and I plan on using 2 or more different actors in my clip. I will include a scene in which my character answers a phone call and shares dialogue with another character. Then, I'll film a scene in which my character walks down a corridor and then through a door, using match-on-action editing and a range of shots. I plan to then have more dialogue between my two characters, using various shots.

As she gets closer she realises that Aya has been possessed due to the mark on her hand.
